Patients should be referred to our echinococcosis clinic if:
- they are suspected of having echinococcosis (especially based on radiological or serological test results), or
- they have been diagnosed with echinococcosis (e.g. by means of imaging, histology or PCR test)
We will assume responsibility for diagnostic assessment, treatment and follow-up for patients referred to us. We are also happy to act in a consulting role or provide a second opinion.
For referrals to the Interdisciplinary Actinomycosis Special Outpatient Clinic:
- Please note that a dental referral is required
- Patients must bring all previous diagnoses and test results with them
For referrals to the Interdisciplinary Osteomyelitis Outpatient Clinic:
- A referral from a specialist is required
- Patients must bring all previous diagnoses and test results with them, as well as any images, either in digital form or on CD-ROM
For referrals to the Special Outpatient Clinic for Infections in Congenital Immunodeficiency Diseases:
- A referral from a doctor is required
- Patients must bring all previous diagnoses and test results with them
