• 2000 - 2006: Studied human medicine at the Medical University of Vienna
• 2004 - present: Research work at the Department of Hematology and Hemostaseology at the Medical University of Vienna (basic research, translational research and clinical research). Focus: myeloid neoplasms (AML, CML, mastocytosis)
• 2006: Doctoral degree (Dr. med. Univ.) at the Medical University of Vienna
• 2007 - 2013: Training as a specialist in internal medicine
• 2013 - 2016: Additional specialization in haematology and internal oncology  
• 2013: Habilitation at the Medical University of Vienna
• 2014 - 2015: Senior physician/lecturer at the University Clinic Krems (KLPU)
• 2015 - 2016: Basic research at the University Hospital (RWTH) Aachen, Germany (Institute for Biomedical Engineering - Cell Biology)
• 2017 - current: Senior Physician and Associate Professor at the Department of Hematology and Hemostaseology at the Medical University of Vienna
