The Department of Medicine I offers two- and four-week clinical traineeships on the wards. Registration with the student administrative support office, and exclusively by e-mail. External medical students can complete a two- or four-week clinical traineeship at the Department of Medicine I either as part of the Erasmus programme or as a free mover (subject to capacity). The Department of Medicine regularly supervises undergraduate theses (UN 202) in the fields covered by the various specialist units: infectious diseases and tropical medicine, oncology, hematology and hemostaseology, palliative medicine, stem cell transplantation and intensive care medicine.
Once your thesis topic has been accepted, a few administrative steps are necessary in order to obtain diploma student status at the Department of Medicine I.
