  • 2-year additional training in hematological special diagnostics (cytomorphology, immunophenotyping, molecular genetics, cytogenetics, next-generation sequencing) at the MLL, Munich Leukemia Laboratory, Munich, Germany (Head: Prof. DDr. Torsten Haferlach, Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Kern, Prof.in Dr.in Susanne Schnittger, Prof.in Dr.in Claudia Haferlach)

Focus on clinical research:

  • Multiple myeloma, MGUS and amyloidosis: diagnostics, therapy and development of special monitoring strategies
  • Myeloproliferative syndromes, specifically: primary osteomyelofibrosis; polycythemia vera; essential thrombocytosis; diagnostics, therapy and development of prognostic factors
  • Myelodysplastic/myeloproliferative overlap syndromes: diagnosis, therapy and development of prognostic factors

Focus on basic research:

  • Multiple myeloma, MGUS and amyloidosis: diagnostics, therapy and development of special monitoring strategies
