- 2002-2008: Studied human medicine at the Medical University of Vienna (MedUni Vienna)
- Since 2008: Member of the Thombosis and Haemostasis Research Group at MedUni Vienna under the direction of Prof. Ingrid Pabinger (until 2021) and Prof. Cihan Ay with research focus on Cancer and thrombosis, pathophysiology of coagulation-active extracellular vesicles, tissue factor and coagulation factor VII
- 2008-2012: PhD studies at the MedUni Vienna
- 2012-2018: Training as a specialist in internal medicine
- Since 2017: Close collaboration with the Vesicle Observation Center (Head: Rienk Nieuwland) of the Amsterdam University Medical Center with a research stay in 2018 and co-supervision of PhD students
- 2018: Habilitation in the subject of internal medicine
- 2019-2022: Additional specialization in hematology and internal oncology
- Since 2022: Senior Physician and Associate Professor at the Department of Hematology and Hemostaseology at MedUni Vienna
